Gorgeous coffee pics. I know this might sound weird but for coffee lovers everywhere how perfect of a morning is this!?!

Coffee & donuts make for the perfect morning☀️:

Pinterest home decor has been driving me insane. Who doesn’t want a living room that looks this cozy?

Spring Into Style

Hi loves, I am so excited because spring is here which means new spring styles! You can probably guess one of my favorite trends still…yes the cold shoulder. I know you probably are getting over it but when I saw this LC Lauren Conrad top I couldn’t help myself. This top is amazing because it’s combining two spring trends into one, the cold shoulder & pleats. If you are like me you probably never wear pleats, but Lauren incorporated it in a fun and cute way that you can’t say no to.

I hope you enjoyed and I’ll talk to you later 🙂

Wanderlust

Welcome back 🙂 This week something very exciting happened, the Chloe + Isabel spring launch of Wanderlust!!! I have been so excited to share this collection with all of you because it has everything you could want for spring. For this collection, C+I wanted to take everyone on a journey and each piece of jewelry is inspired by a city.

The first stop is in Paris, boarding the Orient Express. This collection, Parisian Belle, is inspired by what you would think of passengers wearing aboard this luxurious train. Parisian Belle has literally anything you want from a bold statement to a nice everyday jewelry piece. With gorgeous pinks and dark blues you can’t go wrong.

Our next stop on this journey is in Budapest. This collection Misty Morning was inspired by the way the fog settles onto the gorgeous cityscape. The collection features incredible lavenders, mint & baby blue hues. It is what you think of for a fun spring brunch.

After your day in Budapest has ended, we are boarding the train once again for a sunset ride through the country side. Which is exactly what the Sunset Vista collection represents. Imagine a lavish, ornate 1920’s train ride with the velvet & dark cherry wood. You can have a little piece of that heaven with this collection.

Now that our relaxing train ride through the country side has ended, we are in Istanbul for the Turkish Delight collection! Istanbul has so many gorgeous, fun playful patterns and colors throughout the city. Which is captured in this jewelry, not only is it stunning but it is also the perfect transition to have from spring to summer.

Our trip is now ending with our Modern Mosaic collection inspired by Turkey’s amazing art & architecture. This collection is featured with soft pastels paired with amazing geometric shapes. Whether you want something trendy or classic, this collection has that covered.

I hope you all enjoy the story of this collection as much as I did. The launch of Wanderlust has me itching to go explore some new places. These collections are some of my favorites and I can’t wait to wear them for spring! I only featured some of my top favorites today, so to see all of the pieces you can go to my boutique alissagilbert.chloeandisabel.com to check out the rest!

Let me know what your favorite piece of jewelry is down in the comments!

Think Pink🌸

Hi loves, I hope you all are having a fabulous start to your week! I love the month of February for many reasons but one of them is because spring is around the corner. I can never wait so I just jumped right into spring makeup. I love this look because you can wear it for Valentine’s Day or anytime for a fun spring day. I am focusing the look just on my eyes today so here is how I got this look.

I started with my Meet Matt(e) Trimony palette

  • Crease- I blended Matt Lin & Matt Evans all over, I then went in with a more dense crease brush and just used Matt Evans to make it more defined.
    • With the same dense crease brush I took Matt Rossi and focused it in the lower part of my crease & blended until everything looked seamless.
  • Lid- I first took Matt Thomas from my inner corner to about half-way across my lid.
    • Then I used Too Faced shadows that unfortunately are no longer available (it was from a holiday palette) so I found colors in their Sweet Peach palette that are similar.
    • First use a flat eye shadow brush with setting spray on it to apply the shade Just Peachy.
    • When that dries use more setting spray and go in with the color Bellini just in the center of your lid to add dimension.
  • Lower lash line- With a soft eye shadow brush smudge Matt Evans all over your lower lash line.
    • Then take a more flat dense liner brush with the same Matt Evans shadow to make it more intense.

Finish with your favorite liner & mascara then viola, you have a gorgeous spring pink look! This is by far my favorite look for Valentine’s Day & just for the spring season in general.

Let me know what your favorite spring look is down in the comments!

P.S. tonight the new spring jewelry collection launching on my boutique at 10:00pm EST!!! You can be the first to see it before I feature it on my blog at alissagilbert.chloeandisabel.com

Weekly Beauty Obsession

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous week. I am coming back with one of my favorite posts with a weekly beauty obsession 🙂 (even though today’s product is technically a skin care item). Over the past year I have considered skin care as part of my beauty routine. If you neglect to take good care of your skin then your makeup isn’t going to look as flawless as you want it to (no matter how “full coverage” of a foundation you get).
I have made sheet masks a part of my routine 2-3 times a week. I avoided trying them for the longest time because I thought everyone was just hyping up a product. I thought they weren’t going to work as good as I wanted. However, I was completely wrong! They are amazing, if your skin is dry, acne prone, oily or everything there is a sheet mask that will work for your face.
After trying many different brands my ultimate favorite is currently the Leader’s Insolution brand found in Ulta. These sheet masks come soaking in serum (literally the mask is drenched in serum lol). To me this is extremely important because you don’t want the sheet mask to dry out in five minutes. To ensure your face is soaking up all of the nutrients in the mask I like to leave it on as long as I can (usually 15-30 minutes). My favorite is the AC Clear treatment mask & the Hydrating mask, this time though I tried out the Tea Tree one and it’s great for when your face is breaking out.
What is your favorite sheet mask or facial to use?

Valentine’s Day!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are off to a great start in the week. Can you believe Valentine’s Day is just around the corner?!? It’s crazy to me because it feels like we just started 2017. Since the chocolate filled day is almost upon us I thought I would share my top pics for Valentine’s Day gifts.

Of course I had to start with jewelry! In my Chloe + Isabel boutique the Petite Bijoux line is my favorite for Valentine’s. It’s filled with delicate, feminine jewels that are perfect for everyday wear. You can find this line under my Valentine’s Day section at alissagilbert.chloeandisabel.com

It’s not really Valentine’s day without chocolate. My all time favorite chocolate is from Norman Love Confections. You can’t get these just anywhere but if you find it, you need to try it. The chocolate is almost too gorgeous to eat! You can find them at www.normanloveconfections.com/shop

If your man isn’t a chocolate lover then consider getting him something for his hobby. Whether it’s new workout shoes or surprising him with a new video game he will definitely be grateful to see that you were thinking about him.

If you are anything like me you will be splurging on jewelry & chocolate for you, because you should love yourself…right?! lol. I hope this helps you narrow down some options on your Valentine’s Day gift search. Keep an eye out for the next post coming.

La Vie Boheme

Good Morning everyone! It’s hard to believe that the second week of 2017 is already coming to an end. What is even crazier is that the Chloe + Isabel pre-spring collection has already launched. The second I saw it I instantly fell in love and knew that I had to share it with all of you!

The collection is called La Vie Boheme, which translates to the bohemian life, and that’s exactly what this collection is inspired by. It’s filled with blushed pinks, gold, silvers and my favorite rose gold colors. There are dainty pieces perfect for Valentines day and bold statement pieces for styling your favorite spring outfits. Below are just a few of my favorites:

Something that is also very special with this collection is celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin partnered with C+I again to come out with more hair accessories! My favorite is the art deco inspired bun cuff.

I am loving everything in this collection and it really has me in the mood for spring now!

You can find everything in this post & more at alissagilbert.chloeandisabel.com

Have a happy Friyay:)

Fresh Face Makeup

Happy Monday everyone! I feel like whenever the new year rolls around is the time I really like to focus on my skin and try (most of the time) to lighten up on my makeup. I thought today I would share my version of a fresh face makeup look. I’ve been doing this a lot lately and have been loving it.

I start with my E.l.f. blemish control primer. I don’t really wear this for the “blemish control” aspect. I tried it because Casey Holmes said she really liked how it made her makeup stay. I completely agree it doesn’t break me out and helps my makeup last all day!

Next is concealer, I love Maybelline Fit Me and it’s the only thing I have been using for months now because I can’t put it down. I use the shade 20 Sand.

I set my under eyes with the Maybelline Fit Me Powder in 120 Classic Ivory, and my face with Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin in 25 Nude Beige. If you can’t tell I really love Maybelline products lol. img_1782-1

I fill in my brows really quick with Essence ‘make me brow gel’ in 02 browny brows.

With my eye shadow I went super simple and used the Too Faced Natural Matte Palate. I first dusted Lace Teddy in my crease & lid. I then went in with the color Nudie with a big fluffy brush all over my crease.

I finished with the color Strapless in the outter v and crease area. After that I just popped the color Heaven on my brow bone and inner corner of my eyes to highlight.

Of course you can’t forget your favorite mascara. Out of everything I have tried the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara is still my ultimate favorite.

Now usually I am obsessed with bronzer and use it all over my face. However, when I don’t want to do that much blending I have been using Wet n’ Wild Ombre Blush in Mai Tai Buy You A Drink. I got this a while ago so I don’t think they still have this exact blush out but Wet n’ Wild has colors similar to this one.

I went with nude lips today and just hydrated my lips with Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched.

Lastly, I set everything with Urban Decay all nighter setting spray and was good to go!

If you have stayed until the end thank you for reading this long post!

Let me know in the comments if you would rather see more beauty posts like this, or a fashion related post. I have been loving both lately and want to know what you all think!
